When you save a card to VendaVault, we capture it inside a PCI-scoped environment, encrypt it under a key only your account owns, and hand back a token. From that moment on, merchants charge the token. Your real card is only ever decrypted inside the vault when you authorise.
Your data is locked with two special keys simultaneously — one assigned to you, one from us. So even if there is a database leak, your data is unreadable.
The merchant's system sees only the token. They never store, transmit, or even see your real number. They only get confirmation that they are paid.
We receive a special ID from your Card Network. This ID is stored securely and never shared with the merchant. It is only sent to the processor on your behalf.
Even VendaVault staff cannot read your name, email, phone, or KYC documents without a regulatory inquiry + a separate investigating-authority confirmation. Every access is permanently audited.
Special screenings are run on every merchant in our network at onboarding and continuously. If our Sentinel Fraud Engine flags a risky merchant, they are removed from the network.
